marketing-special-interest-groups The AMA's Academic Special Interest Groups (SIGs) are communities of AMA academic members who are interested in sharing ideas, knowledge and experiences with others in the field. The SIGs are formal groups organized around a common interest area, offering the opportunity for ongoing interaction among professionals regarding specific topics.

The American Marketing Association currently offers Academic SIGs with a wide range of benefits, including:

  • In person meetings, special programs and receptions at conferences
  • Organized discussions online, listservs and conference calls
  • Electronic newsletters and listservs
  • Access to archives of teaching and research material
  • Membership in one SIG is complimentary to all AMA members, while each additional SIG is $20.
